Unashamedly, we’ve decided to milk it for an entire weekend, so please join us for as much as you can.

We love you very much, and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

See you in Spain,

getting there

The closest airport is Girona.
Flights are available from London, Birmingham, and East Midlands.

Girona airport to the city centre is 20 minutes. Taxis are easy, or you can hire a car from the airport.

For more flexible flight times, Barcelona might be a better option.

From Barcelona centre to Girona, the train takes about 40 minutes. The train station is easily accessible from the airport by Metro and Bus. From the airport, to Girona, it would take about 1 hr 30.

Alternatively, you could drive or grab a taxi from Barcelona airport. To Girona, it’s about 1 hr 15.

Please note: if you get a train from Barcelona, make sure you book the fast one. You have to enter your passport details when buying the ticket, and there are also security lanes for baggage scanning. But they’re not as long or annoying as at the airport.

PLACES TO STAY

Here are some suggestions of places to stay in the centre of Girona.

For Hotels, we’ve done some digging and these seem the best options.

BY Pillow

Hotel Nord

Hotel Casa Cacao

Palau Fugit

Nice affordable apartments can be booked through Flateli. There are options for 2-8 people. They aren’t available to book until the end of the year, but if you choose to, you can also use code ALICIACLIFFE for a 10% discount.

We have also collated a list of villas for groups that are between Girona and the wedding venue. There are many affordable options for groups, so please message Ben or I if you’d like us to send it to you.

There are, of course, lots of alternative Hotels and Airbnbs if you’d prefer to find your own place to stay!

You could also stay by the famous costa brava coast. But please note you’d need to sort your own travel to the wedding.
